Job summary

FEA seeks an outstanding Finance Director to lead and develop the finance team, delivering strategic financial leadership and robust reporting for a large Birmingham FE college. You will work closely with senior leaders to drive performance and digital innovation across the finance function.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant with extensive senior financial management experience and a track record of continuous improvement in finance operations.

Our client is seeking to appoint an outstanding Finance Director to lead, mentor and develop their finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and digital innovation. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and have significant experience in senior financial management roles. You will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure robust financial management and reporting and work closely with the Vice Principal/CFO, Principal and Senior Leadership Team to support the delivery of their organisational aims and ambitions.
