Linear Executive Search represents an outstanding Finance Director opportunity in Birmingham for a private equity backed manufacturer and distributor of innovative materials handling solutions. The role focuses on leading the finance function, driving EBITDA improvements, and shaping financial strategy to support an eventual PE exit.

Hybrid working is available; the package includes GBP120k–GBP150k salary with excellent benefits and potential equity participation.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience in a Finance Director role or similar senior finance position.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing finance teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution sector is highly desirable.

• Implement and enhance financial controls and reporting mechanisms to drive operational efficiency.

Location: Birmingham / West Midlands – Private Equity Owned Manufacturer & Distributor of Innovative Materials Handling Solutions

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of highly innovative materials handling solutions, proudly serving major distribution centres and warehousing environments, including renowned clients like Amazon and Morrisons.

Recently acquired by a private equity group, they have experienced significant investment over the past year, positioning them for exciting growth and expansion.

The Opportunity:

Following the investment, and changes in the Senior Leadership Team, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director to join their team.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and further develop the finance function, with a key focus on optimising EBITDA an essential metric as they prepare for an eventual Private Equity exit.

Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping their financial strategy and ensuring robust financial health.
