Job summary

Oxford Data Plan Ltd is seeking a full-time Data Scientist to develop KPI trackers, source and evaluate data sources, and improve our methodology. You will report to the Data Science Manager and own data collection, cleaning, modeling, and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities include building prototype models in Jupyter, creating automated data pipelines, and delivering dashboards in Python and PowerBI. You should be fluent in English with an interest in finance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries.
• Strong statistical knowledge and linear regression understanding.
• Experience with data wrangling and reproducible code.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Interest in finance and data science.

Responsibilities

• Write robust, documented scripts to collect, clean, process, and save data.
• Analyze data, build, validate, and test prototype models in Jupyter.
• Create automated data pipelines between sources.
• Produce visualisations and dashboards in Python and PowerBI.
• Deploy new jobs using Docker and AWS.
• Monitor, debug, and maintain production code.
