Job summary

Stirling Ellis in Guildford, Surrey is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to develop insight, automate processes and enhance decision-making across the business. The role reports to the Finance Director and collaborates with Finance and IT to speed up information delivery.

The candidate will work on dashboards, advanced models and self-service reporting, with a focus on data quality, governance and modernising reporting capabilities for future-proofing the finance function.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, IT, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Experience in Financial or Data Analysis in a large complex business; Power BI, SQL and Excel.
• Accounting or Finance qualification is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Produce advanced analytical models and business performance insights.
• Support management reporting, forecasting and decision-making processes.
• Deliver user friendly, self-service reporting solutions for finance and business stakeholders.
• Reporting modernisation and improving reporting efficiency.
• Standardise reporting methodologies across all areas of the business.
• Utilise Power BI and related reporting platforms.
• Enable greater visibility of Financial KPIs.
• Undertake responsibility for Data Quality & Governance.
• Assist in building a modern digital finance capability to future proof the business.
