Requirements include:

Previous experience and knowledge:

• An academic background in Accounting or Finance; an MBA or Finance certifications (like CFA) are advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, with banking experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

Soft Skills:

• Well-organized, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to produce and maintain financial reports and create compelling PowerPoint presentations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting across departments.

Overview

The candidate will report directly to the CFO of UK & CE and will be responsible for:

• Implementing and enforcing compliance with expense policies.
• Developing tools for expense control and providing management with decision-making information.
• Coordinating with Madrid expense teams (CIB and Holding).
• Managing local supplier admission processes.
• Tracking travel expenses and monitoring mechanisms.
• Participating in the budget process.
• Coordinating with tax teams locally and corporately.
• Leading the Local Efficiency Working Group.
