The University of Cambridge invites applications for an experienced Finance Coordinator to lead the department's finance function, provide strategic financial leadership, and oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance and controls.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Finance Coordinator to lead our departmental finance function and provide strategic financial leadership within a thriving academic environment.
In this varied role, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance and financial controls, while providing expert advice to academic and professional services colleagues, researchers and senior departmental leaders. You will play a key role in supporting research funding, research facilities, studentships and income-generating activities, ensuring resources are managed effectively and sustainably.
You will also lead and develop a dedicated finance team, drive process improvements, support the implementation of new financial systems and contribute to the Department's long-term planning through high-quality financial analysis and insight.
