Time Type: Full time

Worker Type: Employee

Location: London/Leeds (Hybrid)

Fixed Term Full-Time Contract

This is a great opportunity to join a newly formed team within QBE, dedicated to driving strong governance and control frameworks across the Finance, Actuarial, and Legal (FAL) division. As part of the Line 1 control function, you will support the development of consistent, effective risk management practices and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

  • Contribute to the development of a maturing risk and control environment within a high-performing international insurance business.
  • Take ownership of key activities that support risk identification, issue management, and control enhancement across core corporate functions.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and senior leaders in a collaborative and evolving team environment.

  • Strong analytical, process mapping, and documentation skills.
  • The ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders to remediate control gaps.
  • Experience working in finance, audit, or risk within financial services or insurance.
  • A flexible, solution-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with risk management systems (e.g. Insight), and experience documenting business processes.
