Job summary

Hop Talent LTD in London is seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial management and reporting across a growing London‑based commercial office property portfolio. The role is suited to a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant or Senior Property Accountant ready to step up.

You will lead monthly management accounts, year‑end statements, VAT returns, cash flow, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust controls and commercial insight.

Qualifications

• Experience leading financial reporting for property/real estate portfolios.
• Strong management accounting skills including month-end and budgeting.
• Proven ability to implement improvements to processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial management and control for a London portfolio.
• Lead monthly management accounts, year-end statements and variances.
• Review contracts, invoicing, cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee VAT returns, debt monitoring, and audits as required.
• Provide financial insight to support commercial decision‑making.
