Job summary

A successful family-owned transport company in England is looking for a Financial Controller to manage the finance team and report directly to the directors. Responsibilities include producing management accounts, handling payroll, and liaising with HMRC on tax matters. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience and ideally possess an accounting qualification. The role will involve office presence but allows for occasional remote work. Qualifications

• Qualified or studying for an accounting qualification, or qualified by relevant experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Management experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small finance team and report to the directors.
• Produce monthly management accounts and run payroll using Sage.
• Liaise with HMRC for PAYE submissions and VAT Returns.
