Job summary

Adele Carr Recruitment Limited is supporting a growing UK business in Lancashire to appoint its first Financial Controller. The role will involve developing monthly management accounts, enhancing controls and systems, and introducing budgets and forecasting to support growth, with potential for FD-ship as the company expands.

You'll work closely with the Managing Director, bringing senior finance experience, ideally from an SME or construction sector, to influence the business's future

Qualifications

• Experience in a Senior Finance role, ideally within an SME.
• Experience within the construction industry would be favourable.
• Development of monthly management accounts and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly management accounts.
• Enhance financial controls, systems and processes to support growth.
• Introduce budgets and forecasting alongside commercial reporting/modelling.
• Collaborate with the MD and leadership team to influence future growth.
