Job summary

CFO Insights, part of United Media, is seeking a Controller to Own the finances and drive financial strategy from our London HQ. You will report to leaders, collaborate with investors, and influence budgeting and cost management across the portfolio.

Ideal candidates bring accounting rigor, prior senior finance experience in smaller enterprises, and a track record of driving cash flow and working capital improvements within media or conference contexts.

Qualifications

• Accounting background with professional experience in finance leadership.
• 2+ years in a senior finance role from a Big Four firm is preferred.
• Experience as CFO, Head of Finance or Finance Director in a small/medium business.
• UK work permit is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets for effective financial planning.
• Provide weekly updates on cash flow.
• Conduct monthly P&L and cash updates for financial insights.
• Evaluate and implement cost optimisation programs.
• Review intercompany and external loans for financial health.
• Offer support to sales and operations teams.
• Lead Working Capital management.
• Manage HR financial planning responsibilities.
• Support sales and operations teams.
