Job summary

Quantifi, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our global accounting, reporting, controls, and compliance as the business scales, bringing strong FP&A capability and owning budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for executive decision-making.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, runs both close and plan processes, has solid accounting fundamentals, and proven FP&A experience in a global software or fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA (USCPA a plus).
• 10+ years progressive accounting and finance experience with a controllership core.
• Proven FP&A experience: budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge and multinational consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Maintain the general ledger and consolidate UK, US, Australia entities.
• Ensure IFRS/UK GAAP and US GAAP reporting.
• Apply revenue recognition under IFRS15/ASC606.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analyses.
• Develop policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits and tax audits.
• Manage tax, transfer pricing, FX management, and intercompany arrangements.
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and reporting discipline.
• Co-own finance-system implementations and reduce Excel dependency.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Controller who runs both the close and the plan, with strong accounting fundamentals and proven FP&A experience in a global software or financial technology company.

Responsibilities

Accounting & financial reporting

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Maintain the general ledger and produce consolidated statements across the UK, US, and Australia entities, including FX translation and intercompany eliminations.
• EnsureaccurateIFRS/UKGAAPstatutoryreporting(andUSGAAPfortheUSentity).
• ApplyrevenuerecognitionunderIFRS15/ASC606forlicenseandsubscriptionrevenue.
• Developandmaintainaccountingpolicies,procedures,andinternalcontrols.

Financial planning & analysis

• Leadannualbudgetingandquarterlyforecasting.
• Buildoperatingmodels,forecasts,andscenarioanalysestosupportexecutivedecisions.
• Partner with department leaders on headcount, expense, and resource planning.
• Deliver management reporting and KPI analysis; improve visibility into revenue, margin, operating leverage, and cash flow.

Controls, compliance & audit

• Strengthenandcontinuouslyimproveinternalcontrolsystemsandaccountingoperations.
• Coordinateannualfinancialstatementauditsandtaxaudits.
• MaintaincomplianceacrossUK(HMRC,CompaniesHouse)andinternationalrequirements.
• Supportlegal-entitymanagementandcorporaterecords.

Tax & FX

• Oversee preparation and filing of corporate, payroll, VAT / sales & use, and other regulatory returns across jurisdictions.
• Manage transfer pricing and intercompany arrangements; FX rate management and currency exposure.
• Managerelationshipswithexternalauditors,taxadvisors,andbankingpartners.

Cash flow & treasury

• Monitorcashflowandworkingcapital;supporttreasuryandbankingrelationships.
• Improvethefinancialoperatingcadenceandreportingdiscipline.

Systems & process improvement

• Ownorco-ownthefinance-systemimplementation;reduceExceldependencyinreporting.
• Buildrepeatable,scalableprocessesthatsupportgrowthwithoutunnecessarycomplexity.

Qualifications

• Qualifiedaccountant:ACA,ACCA,orCIMA(USCPAaplus).
• 10+yearsofprogressiveaccountingandfinanceexperience,withacontrollershipcore.
• ProvenFP&Aexperience:budgeting,forecasting,andfinancialmodeling.
• StrongknowledgeofIFRS/UKGAAPandfinancialreporting;multinationalconsolidationsandFX.
• Experienceinsoftware,SaaS,fintech,orfinancialservicesenvironmentsstronglypreferred.
• Revenuerecognitionexperience(IFRS15/ASC606).
