Job summary

Quilter plc, a leading wealth management company, is hiring for a Level-3 Finance role in Southampton on a 12-month FTC basis. The role supports delivery of a new adviser system, extending beyond core accounting to projects across data migration, controls, governance, and business readiness.

You will work across Finance, IT and Operations, performing system reconciliations, testing, data validation and training to ensure a smooth transition. Prior Workday familiarity is desirable.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant or demonstrable experience supporting finance change or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks; able to embed into new processes.
• Proven stakeholder management skills across Finance, IT and Operations.
• Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills; ability to validate outputs for accuracy.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reviewing financial data and system outputs.
• Experience supporting finance system implementations (e.g. Workday), including integrations and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of new controls and reconciliations.
• Daily reconciliation of system integrations from source system to the General Ledger (AE to Workday).
• Development of a comprehensive daily and monthly timetable to ensure clear visibility and timely delivery of outputs.
• Completion of daily and month-end balance sheet reconciliations and related controls.
• Review and resolution of receipts by reconciling bank statements to adviser system transactions.
• Validation of migrated data and accounting outputs, documenting issues.
• Support Business Readiness activities, including training for BAU teams.
• Provide audit support across legacy and new systems.
