Job summary

Quilter is recruiting for a Finance Change/Transformation role based in Southampton on a 12-month FTC. You will support the delivery of a new adviser system across the organisation, working beyond traditional accounting to engage in multiple project lifecycle stages.

You will contribute to finance operations, including testing, control development, data migration and business readiness, with strong emphasis on governance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant or demonstrable experience supporting finance change or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Proven stakeholder management skills across Finance, IT and Operations.
• Experience supporting finance system implementations (e.g. Workday) including data migration.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of new controls and reconciliations.
• Daily reconciliation of system integrations from source system to the General Ledger (AE to Workday).
• Development of a timetable to ensure clear visibility and timely delivery of outputs.
• Daily and month-end balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
• Review and resolution of receipts by reconciling bank statements to adviser system transactions.
• Validation of migrated data and accounting outputs; document known issues.
• Support Business Readiness activities, including BAU training.
• Provide audit support across legacy and new systems.
