Finance Business Partner, Workforce Planning

This role is based in central London, UK

We are seeking a Workforce Planning and Accounting Manager for Informa Festivals to play a key role in our rapidly growing division. You will collaborate directly with senior finance leaders to provide workforce insights that support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading workforce planning by maintaining headcount forecasts and providing data-driven insights to leadership
  • Partnering with finance teams across the business to gather timely data inputs
  • Delivering monthly financial reports, including cost analysis and board-ready content
  • Managing payroll accounting processes, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliations
  • Running capitalization models for internal projects and explaining variances to leadership
  • Preparing and posting Group Recharge models monthly
  • Supporting financial planning for annual budgets, three-year plans, and monthly forecasts
  • Calculating monthly bonus accruals and assisting HR during the bonus cycle
  • Ensuring consistency in accounting and forecasting for project-related costs
  • Championing risk management by implementing appropriate controls

A typical day might include:

  • Analyzing workforce data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Creating clear financial reports that convey insights effectively
  • Collaborating with finance colleagues to resolve complex accounting issues
  • Building models to provide actionable insights for decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant with proven experience in financial analysis
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for modeling and communication
  • Problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
  • Experience with Essbase, Hyperion Planning, or TM1 is advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
