Job summary

RM Education is hiring a Management Accountant to support the RM Resources finance team and help deliver monthly results and divisional packs for group consolidation.

You will work with the accounting team on reconciliations, interact with cross-functional teams, and assist in process improvements across accounting systems to drive growth. The role emphasizes analytical insights and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Management accounting or Finance Partnering roles.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified or experience.
• Exposure to working with the business in a previous role and experience working in cross functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to “get behind the numbers” and understand key drivers within a business.
• Expert Excel knowledge.
• Experience in using finance and customer management systems.
• Experience in analytical and reporting tools.
• Experience of general ledger accounting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Management Accountant supporting the RM Resources finance team.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly results and management reporting including divisional packs for Group consolidation.
• Working with the accounting team on reconciliations and liaising with the wider finance teams and transactional reporting team in India to ensure accurate flow of information.
• Transformation – Supporting business projects to improve process and transition the business across accounting systems and delivery to drive business growth.
• Audit – support the group audit, liaising with the external auditors in preparation information and investigation of issues.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support business requirements.
