Job summary

Linde plc in the United Kingdom seeks a senior finance professional to provide financial and strategic input into key business decisions. You will own P&L areas, review performance, and translate data into value for senior management and stakeholders.

The role requires a degree with a strong accounting background and qualifications (CIMA/ACA/ACCA). You will bring advanced modelling and analysis skills and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and TM1 as desirable assets.

• You will provide financial and strategic input into all keybusiness decisions, and will review, assess and challenge businessperformance and identify profit improvement opportunities
• Additionally, you will assume day to day responsibility for assignedP&L areas, with a strong focus on understanding the underlying results& trends and translating this into a meaningful story that adds value tokey stakeholders; specifically business partners, Senior Management andGroup
• You’ll act as a business navigator who will constantly innovate new and automated ways ofproviding greater business intelligence both in terms of looking at past orplanning for future and always challenge the business to achieve more
• You will be responsible for contributing to the overall priorities of the finance functionand working together to achieve the overall finance agenda

What makes you great

• You hold a degree and a strong, proven accounting background (CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified) with first time passed preferred
• Previous experience in a commercial, business facing role is essential
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both financial and less-financial audiences of all levels of a multi-national organisation
• Furthermore, you have advanced modelling, analytical and numerical reasoning skills with an ability to interpret complex plant and contract performance.A good knowledge of SAP S4 & IBM TM1 System is also desirable
• You have a strong drive for process innovation and superior time management skills
