Morrisons is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant for its Bradford - Greenside facility. You’ll be at the financial heart of a 400,000 sq ft, 24/7 operation with 1,500 staff, 44 lines, and six operations. You’ll partner with site operations, drive profitability, and own weekly reporting and controls.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant and strong stakeholder management. You’ll influence site strategy and capex planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Fully qualified Accountant with CIMA/ACA/ACCA accreditation.

About the role

Ready to make a real difference at one of Morrisons' largest and most dynamic sites? We’re looking for a driven Manufacturing Accountant to join our Bradford - Greenside facility.

This isn't your standard desk job. You'll be at the financial heart of a 400,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art operation. With a 1,500-strong team operating 24/7 across 44 production lines and six different operations under one roof, the environment here is incredibly fast-paced. Every single day, 72 vehicles leave our site packed with 277 varieties of freshly prepared products and you'll play a crucial role in making it all happen profitably and efficiently.

The impact you’ll make:

Business Partnering: Act as a true commercial partner to our Site Operations Managers, driving financial performance right on the shop floor.
Champion Profitability: Proactively identify brilliant cost-saving initiatives and volume-growth opportunities to boost the site's profitability.
Build Strong Networks: Collaborate daily with a diverse range of stakeholders, bridging the gap between the manufacturing site and our trading teams.
Own the Numbers: Take charge of our weekly and periodic financial reporting (including the preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments), keeping your finger on the pulse of the site's financial health.
Drive Strategic Growth: Play a key role in shaping site strategy, capital expenditure (CapEx) plans, and high-impact projects.
Protect the Business: Ensure robust financial controls are maintained across this large-scale operation.

About you

You are a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
You ideally thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and understand the unique financial rhythms of a production site.
You are a natural communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, able to translate complex numbers into actionable insights for operational leaders.
You possess fantastic attention to detail, coupled with the agility to organise and prioritise a varied workload to meet strict deadlines in a fast-moving, 24/7 environment.
