Job summary

Axon Moore is partnering with a growing international organisation in Preston to recruit two Finance Business Partner positions. These roles offer full ownership of a single company, with broad exposure across the business to drive commercial value and performance.

Ideal candidates will be near or newly qualified in accounting, with strong Excel skills and the confidence to partner with senior leaders across engineering/manufacturing. Hybrid working in Preston with UK travel.

Responsibilities

• Producing and analysing divisional management accounts and financial performance reports.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning and decision-making.
• Developing cash flow models and conducting detailed cost analysis.
• Monitoring product margins, identifying trends and driving improvements in commercial performance.
• Partnering with stakeholders across multiple divisions, providing financial insight and constructive challenge.
• Influencing business decisions through clear, meaningful financial analysis and recommendations.
• Supporting the preparation of board packs and presenting financial insights to senior leadership.
• Acting as a key finance contact across multiple business areas.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies, strengthen financial processes and enhance business performance.
• Supporting ad hoc projects and wider finance initiatives.
