Qualifications

• Nearly or newly qualified finance professional with a strong commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyse divisional management accounts and financial performance reports.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support planning and decisions.
• Develop cash flow models and conduct detailed cost analysis.
• Monitor product margins, identify trends and drive improvements in commercial performance.
• Partner with stakeholders across divisions, providing financial insight and constructive challenge.
• Influence business decisions through clear financial analysis and recommendations.
• Support board packs and present financial insights to senior leadership.
• Act as a key finance contact across multiple business areas.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and strengthen financial processes.
• Support ad hoc projects and wider finance initiatives.

Axon Moore is partnering with a growing international organisation in Preston to recruit two newly created Finance Business Partner positions.

These are excellent opportunities for nearly or newly qualified individuals with a strong commercial mindsets, who are looking to take the next step in their careers. Each role will offer full ownership of an individual company, providing broad exposure across all aspects of the business and the opportunity to make a tangible commercial impact.

Ideally, you will have experience in commercial finance within an engineering, manufacturing or similar industry, coupled with the confidence and credibility to partner with stakeholders across multiple business areas, including senior directors.

We are looking for proactive, commercially astute individuals who are comfortable challenging the status quo, influencing business decisions and working closely with senior leadership to drive performance and deliver value.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing and analysing divisional management accounts and financial performance reports.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning and decision-making.
• Developing cash flow models and conducting detailed cost analysis.

Candidates ideally will havestrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable commercial insights. In addition excellent Excel skills and confidence working with financial models and reporting tools will be required.
