Job summary

The Numbers Studio, based in Brighton, seeks a Senior Accountant/Finance Business Partner to provide trusted financial support for ambitious clients. You will advise, interpret numbers, and help owners make informed decisions, overseeing advisory work rather than routine bookkeeping.

You’ll work directly with business owners, translating financial data into practical guidance and driving quarterly and annual planning conversations with management accounts.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience in practice with client facing responsibility.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners.
• Explain financial information clearly and confidently.
• Organised and able to manage multiple clients.
• Experience reviewing management accounts.
• Confident using Xero or similar accounting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners.
• Translate financial information into clear, practical advice.
• Lead quarterly and annual planning conversations through management accounts.
• Identify opportunities, risks and insights that help clients grow.
• Coordinate with our internal bookkeeping, payroll and accounts teams.
• Champion your clients internally and ensure they receive exceptional service.
• Monitor clients accounts including renewals, billing and overall engagement.
