Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for an interim, part-time role with a Local Authority in the United Kingdom. The position offers £600-£650 per day for 3 days per week, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong Local Authority/public sector finance experience.
• Experience in Children's Social Care and/or Education.
• Qualified CCAB or equivalent.
• Experience in interim environment and ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted financial adviser to senior managers across Children’s Social Care and Education.
• Provide high-quality financial analysis, forecasting and budget monitoring.
• Support development and delivery of medium- and long-term financial plans.
• Challenge budget holders on financial performance, expenditure and savings opportunities.
• Provide clear financial information and insight to support strategic decision-making.
• Support identification and delivery of savings and transformation programmes.
• Contribute to financial reporting for senior management and governance forums.
• Collaborate with operational colleagues to improve financial control and outcomes.
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis when required.
