Job summary
Connect Legal Partners is seeking a lead finance professional to head FP&A for the business services functions in the UK. You will consolidate budgeting/forecasting, deliver dashboards and insight packs, and partner with senior leaders on strategy.
You will build financial models, run scenario analyses and investment appraisals, and coach analysts while linking performance insights to decision making.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Strong business partnering or FP&A experience.
- Advanced modelling and analysis skills.

Job description
A national top 50 law firm with a large business services function supporting fee earners across the UK.
You will be the lead finance contact for the business services functions, combining FP&A with support on change and strategy.
You will produce analysis of performance against budget and forecast, dashboards and insight packs for senior leaders, along with modelling, scenario work and investment appraisals.
You will lead budgeting and forecasting for your areas, explain variances and agree actions, set and track KPIs, support strategic projects and coach analysts.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Strong business partnering or FP&A experience.
Advanced modelling and analysis skills.
Experience of planning tools such as SAP, TM1 or Planful is helpful, as is legal or professional services experience.
