Job summary

Connect Legal Partners in Leeds is seeking a finance professional to join the financial control team, reporting to the group finance manager. You will manage payroll within the management accounts, coordinate monthly balance sheet updates and own payroll and accounts payable balance sheet areas.

The role requires a professional accounting qualification and strong FRS 102 and financial control knowledge. International experience and opportunity for hybrid working are a plus.

Qualifications

• A professional accounting qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and financial control is essential.
• Experience with management accounts and payroll accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post monthly payroll into the management accounts and explain variances.
• Coordinate monthly balance sheet updates.
• Own payroll and accounts payable balance sheet areas.
• Be the contact for international finance teams.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated balance sheets and support the UK audit.
