Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established organisation in Winchester to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This role offers broad stakeholder exposure and a chance to influence strategic decision-making in a values-led environment.

You will produce monthly management accounts, partner with budget holders, deliver detailed financial analysis and KPI reporting, and help drive continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong background in management accounting and business partnering.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience in financial analysis and KPI reporting for management.
• Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end reporting activities.
• Partnering with budget holders and operational managers to improve financial understanding and ownership.
• Delivering detailed financial analysis, forecasts and performance reporting to support decision-making.
• Developing and enhancing KPI reporting, dashboards and management information packs.
• Analyzing performance across service areas to identify efficiencies and support continuous improvement.
• Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Providing training and guidance to non-finance stakeholders to improve financial awareness.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

• Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end reporting activities
• Partnering with budget holders and operational managers to improve financial understanding and ownership across the organisation
• Delivering detailed financial analysis, forecasts and performance reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Developing and enhancing KPI reporting, dashboards and management information packs
• Analysing performance across multiple service areas to identify efficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Providing training and guidance to non-finance stakeholders to improve financial awareness throughout the organisation

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:

• Experienced finance professional with a strong background in management accounting, financial analysis and business partnering
• Able to build credible and effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
• Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups and data analysis techniques
• Experience of developing reporting tools, KPIs and financial insight to support business performance
• Previous exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools would be advantageous
