Muller Yogurts & Desserts are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Finance Business Partner to be based at our Telford office on a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will act as a key business partner to both the Operations Financial Controller and the Telford Operations Leadership Team providing day to day operational and strategic financial support. You will need to have previous experience in a large commercial organisation, ideally FMCG and be a highly effective Business Partner with strong systems and processes experience, ideally within SAP.
Operations Finance Business Partner Key Responsibilities Will Include
Responsible for weekly and monthly management information reporting, including month end and explanation of manufacturing and material variance reporting.
Business Partner the Telford Operations management team providing timely information and value adding insight to support improved operational performance
Monthly forecasting of Private Label manufacturing overheads and material costs.
Responsible for the monthly update of materials and overheads in SAP product costing and explanations of key movements.
Business Partner the Private Label Commercial Team teams with NPD product costing and Commercial evaluations of new business tender.
Business Partner R&D, Packaging and Procurement business functions in identifying and evaluating cost saving initiatives working closely with Operational Excellence to developing material loss and operational efficiency improvements.
Responsible for Telford Plant Budget build and the reporting of key variances.
Ownership of the Ops Monthly KPI actual performance reporting deck and communicating to the Telford manufacturing leadership team.
Support the month end close Finance meeting with responsibility for explaining the key operational variances vs Target
Key skills & experience for the Operations Finance Business Partner: -
CIMA Accountant or Part Qualified with experience who demonstrates strong analytical skills.
Preferable experience within FMCG
Experience of SAP CO-PC and product cost building
Effective Business Partnering skills ability to communicate well, challenge and offer value added insight to support improved business performance.
Ability to develop relationships with Ops and other supporting business functions
