NFP Finance Lead at Trace - Recruiting Senior/Qualified candidates in the third sector

Finance Business Partner - 6 month temp to perm

Start: July 2025

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation at the heart of British sport. You'll be working in a small, high-performing finance team where your input will directly impact strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, including posting of accruals and prepayments
• Own P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting with clear variance analysis
• Partner with internal teams to support business planning and decision-making
• Assist in annual budgets, reforecasts, and quarterly planning cycles
• Provide insightful financial commentary and scenario modelling
• Ensure accurate process documentation and ongoing process improvement
• Navigate and utilise cloud-based accounting tools (training provided)

What We're Looking For

• ACA or equivalent accounting qualification
• Strong background in management accounting and business partnering
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior stakeholders
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with attention to detail
• Experience with Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
