• Lead financial appraisal and modelling for business cases, ensuring affordability, robustness and value for money.
• Support the identification, development and monitoring of Cost Improvement Programmes with measurable benefits.
• Drive productivity and value-for-money through benchmarking and workforce data analysis.
• Provide leadership and development support to finance staff and ensure reporting quality.

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an ambitious, values-driven Finance Business Partner to provide expert financial leadership, advice and constructive challenge to the Neighbourhood Mental Health Division. This role is suited to a highly motivated finance professional who can influence decision-making, improve financial performance and deliver value for money. Working closely with the Divisional Director, clinical and operational leaders and senior managers, you will deliver a comprehensive, proactive and high-quality financial management and business partnering service. You will build strong relationships and act as a visible and trusted adviser. Reporting to the Associate Director of Financial Management, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for the Division, ensuring robust financial information, insightful analysis and effective financial governance support the delivery of the Trust's strategic priorities. You will also lead on productivity and value-for-money initiatives, using benchmarking and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and support financial sustainability. As a leader within Financial Management, you will also provide direction and development support to finance colleagues and work to strengthen the financial literacy of non-finance managers.

• Drive productivity and value-for-money initiatives through benchmarking, analysis of financial, activity and workforce data, and service improvement programmes.
• Provide leadership, line management and development support to finance staff, setting clear expectations and assuring the quality of reporting and financial controls.
