Job summary

Investigo is assisting a large consumer-focused organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner. The role offers exposure to digital, technology, marketing, and customer teams, driving financial insight and challenge to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with senior leaders, lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and ROI. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Proven ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience partnering with customer, digital, ecommerce, marketing, technology or operations teams is a plus.

Finance Business Partner. An exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support a fast-paced customer-facing channel within a large consumer-focused organisation. Working closely with senior operational leaders, you will provide financial insight, challenge, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive commercial performance. This position sits within the Commercial Finance function and partners with senior stakeholders across digital, technology, marketing, and customer teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business PartneringPartner with senior leaders to provide financial guidance, commercial insight, and constructive challenge to support key business decisions.
• Build strong relationships across operational teams to ensure financial implications are considered in planning and decision-making.
• Present complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance drivers and provide insights into business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the development and tracking of KPIs, ensuring initiatives are measured effectively and performance is transparent.
• Analyse commercial outcomes and provide recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and return on investment.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews for key areas of expenditure and investment.
• Work with stakeholders to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities to improve value and optimise spend.
• Ensure financial plans remain aligned with wider business objectives.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modelling, scenario planning, and business case development.
• Conduct investment appraisals and post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of key projects and programmes.
• Help prioritise investment opportunities by evaluating financial and commercial benefits.
• Collaborate with digital, technology, marketing, and customer-focused teams to understand how initiatives influence customer engagement, conversion, and revenue performance.
• Support analysis of channel optimisation activities, helping stakeholders understand the commercial impact of customer journey improvements.
• Provide financial insight into initiatives designed to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
• Work closely with wider finance teams to ensure operational plans support overall business strategy.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities that could impact commercial targets and financial performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting, analysis, and decision-support frameworks.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance experience.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and investment appraisal.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.
• Experience working with customer, digital, ecommerce, marketing, technology, or operational teams would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
