Our client is a fast-growing, SaaS business operating across the UK financial services ecosystem. Supporting a broad range of Blue Chip institutional clients, the organisation delivers mission-critical, cloud-based platforms that underpin high-volume transactions and long‑term customer relationships. The organisation has the backing of a leading global private equity firm, providing the funding for both organic growth and targeted M&A. To manage increasing scale, complexity and revenue growth, the business is investing in its finance function to ensure it remains able to successfully support and partner with the wider organisation.
As part of this continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner into the FP&A team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this is a business facing role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The successful candidate will act as a key finance partner to the leadership and wider senior management teams, providing the analysis, insight and challenge required to support better commercial and strategic decision‑making. This is an opportunity for an individual to understand the underlying drivers of performance and translate financial information into actionable recommendations, not just a role focused on producing reports.
Key responsibilities will include:
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least three years’ post‑qualified experience, ideally gained within a fast‑paced SME, with an understanding of technology, software or B2B SaaS environments. You will already have a strong track record of business partnering and financial analysis, together with the confidence and communication skills to build credibility with senior non‑finance stakeholders.
In particular, you will be:
Exposure to revenue recognition and R&D capitalisation, as well as forecasting systems and tools, would be advantageous.
