About Our Client

The client is a medium-sized property and construction business based in Greater Manchester. Following a recent restructure, they have created a Finance Business Partner role to spearhead the projected growth of the business.

They are looking for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with a few years of post-qualified experience and commercial finance exposure to work alongside the commercial finance team and report into the FD. This role will play a key part in supporting the operations team and providing them with insight. A significant focus on business partnering is essential, so the ability to build and maintain relationships is important.

Job Description

• Key member of the senior Finance team.
• Work closely with the Managing Director to provide and interpret financial and operational KPIs to inform operational decision-making and drive actions where needed.
• Support and challenge operational teams in assessing new site appraisals, tracking existing site performance, and managing overheads in both financial and non-financial contexts.
• Production of a comprehensive monthly Regional reporting pack, including financial reports provided by the Central Finance team, and commentary covering operational and financial performance in conjunction with the Managing Director.
• Responsible for leading the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for the Region, working closely alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner and Central Finance team.
• Specific projects and other analyses as required by the Divisional Managing Director, FD, CFO, and wider business.

The Successful Applicant

The client seeks a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with circa 3-5 years PQE from a commercial finance background. Following the recent restructure, this Finance Business Partner role will report directly to the FD and the Senior Leadership Team. As a member of the senior finance team, you will provide insight and support for the operational teams in the region.

This role is key in accelerating growth as you will be involved in planning and reporting. The ideal candidate will be highly driven and positioned to spearhead the predicted growth.
