Job Description

Grafana’s GTM Organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Sales Operations to collaborate with our EMEA and APAC Sales teams. Reporting to the Senior Director of Field Operations, you will work closely with Sales Leadership to drive operational excellence, manage localized planning, and develop sales strategies in partnership with Revenue Operations. The role requires strong business partnering skills, expertise in financial and business reporting, planning, modeling, process implementation, and good business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with EMEA and APAC Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies and resource plans.
  2. Design sales territories, management organizations, and quota allocations based on data, aligning with global strategies. Influence Sales Leadership decisions to optimize processes and partner with Sales Planning for operational execution.
  3. Lead the sales operational cadence, including forecasting, pipeline analysis, and quarterly reviews, to provide insights and identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity improvements.
  4. Create programs to leverage trends, build business cases for alignment, develop performance reports, identify barriers, and work to remove them.
  5. Serve as the subject matter expert on Sales policies and liaise with Revenue Operations on behalf of EMEA and APAC teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales strategy and operations within a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment, supporting EMEA/APAC sales teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, managing details, multitasking, stakeholder collaboration, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with executive audiences, explaining data insights clearly.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, prioritizing effectively and working diligently without external motivation.
  • Deep understanding of sales tools such as Salesforce, Clari, CPQ, Gong, etc.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills, including functions like import, index matches, and pivot tables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in open source projects.
  • Familiarity with Grafana, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or similar querying languages.

The OTE compensation range in the UK for this role is £106,000 - £127,000, with actual compensation based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and other listed perks.
