Job summary

Insight Select Ltd in London is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its forward-thinking finance team. The role combines commercial analysis with financial planning to influencing strategic and operational decisions across the business.

You will work closely with the Head of Finance and lead a Finance Analyst, delivering reliable financial models, dashboards and KPI reporting while ensuring robust budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Approximately 1–2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience in an industry/commercial environment preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial financial advice.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support decision-making.
• Produce and improve management reporting, dashboards and KPIs.
• Lead budgeting and support quarterly forecasting.
• Provide variance analysis and commentary against budgets.

Finance Business Partner £60,000 - £70,000 London Permanent

Insight Select is partnering with an established and growing organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner into its Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career and move into a highly commercial, business-facing role.

Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide high-quality financial analysis, modelling and commercial insight, helping the business make informed strategic and operational decisions. You will also have responsibility for managing and developing a Finance Analyst.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with senior stakeholders and budget holders, providing commercial financial advice and insight
• Developing financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Producing and improving management reporting, dashboards and KPIs
• Analysing business performance and identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Leading budgeting and supporting quarterly forecasting
• Providing variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecasts
• Using data to improve financial visibility and support commercial decision-making
• Supporting wider strategic projects, investments and new initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to improve FP&A, reporting and finance processes
• Managing and developing one direct report

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A recognised accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Approximately 1-2 years' post-qualified experience
• Ideally at least one year within an industry/commercial environment
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capability
• Excellent numerical and Excel skills with confidence working with large datasets
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn financial information into meaningful business insight
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience of Power BI, dashboards or similar reporting tools would be advantageous
