Lusona Consultancy have a new opportunity for an Accountant to join our client within a rare and exciting service sector business. This is an all-encompassing finance role that will include a mixture of management accounts, budgeting, statutory accounts and analysis. Perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders within a business.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the completion of the monthly consolidate management accounts
• Supporting with all month end activity, including reconciliations and queries
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting preparation for group consolidation
• Analysing any movements/variances and communicating with the corresponding stakeholders
• Contributing to the statutory accounts/reports and balance sheet review
• Responsibility for the fixed asset register
• Liaising with external auditors to deal with any queries and work towards timely successful completion
• Assisting with tax returns and liaising with external stakeholders regarding insurance requirements
• Driving continuous process improvement across the finance team

Applicants will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA), with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. However, suitably qualified by experience accountants will also be considered. This is suitable for those within industry and commerce or a motivated accountant looking to make their first move out of Accountancy Practice
