Job summary

Shorebrook Partners is seeking a Finance Business Partner to bridge Finance and the wider business, driving informed decision making and strong financial governance. You will work with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, enhance performance, and support strategic value creation across manufacturing operations.

The role requires expert Excel and financial modelling, plus experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial finance or FP&A.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Manufacturing or product‑based experience advantageous.

This role plays a central part in driving informed decision‑making, strengthening financial integrity, and supporting strategic performance across the organisation.

The Opportunity

As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, enhance performance, and ensure robust financial governance. You will bring commercial insight, analytical rigour, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Strategy

• Collaborate with business leaders to develop financial and operational strategies aligned to organisational goals.
• Provide insightful analysis to support decision‑making, performance improvement, and cost efficiency.
• Challenge and influence business decisions using data‑driven insights.
• Strengthen financial understanding and accountability across non‑finance teams.

Reporting & Performance Management

• Produce and present monthly management reports and performance dashboards.
• Monitor KPIs, highlighting trends and recommending actions for improvement.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information across reporting systems.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, margin enhancement, and process optimisation.
• Support business initiatives with financial evaluations, risk assessments, and ROI analysis.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
