Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd in Derby is recruiting a Finance Business Partner into a newly created role. You will report to the Commercial Finance Director and partner closely with the CFO to drive growth through commercial finance.

The role focuses on commercial insight, budgeting and forecasting, MI development, and influencing senior stakeholders. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidates with a business partnering mindset are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with operational leaders, providing commercial insight and constructive challenge.
• Lead monthly performance reviews, analysing financial and operational performance.
• Own the budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
• Analyse key commercial drivers including revenue, profitability and pricing models.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support business performance.
• Interpret financial information into clear insight for non-financial stakeholders.
• Work closely with the FP&A team to develop meaningful MI.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting including automation and continuous improvement.

We’re delighted to be working with a high-growth, privately owned business to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a newly created position.

Derby - £60,000 - £70,000p/a – the role will be fully office based.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director and working closely with the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to play a key role in supporting continued growth. The business has grown to over £60m turnover and has ambitious plans to reach £100m within the next two years, driven by increased market share and strategic acquisitions.

As Finance Business Partner, you will act as the main finance contact for one of the business’s largest divisions, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance and support decision-making.
