Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting on behalf of an NHS client in the Southwest for a Finance Business Partner at 8b level. The role requires strategic financial leadership over income, activity and expenditure, with responsibility for monthly reports and the annual financial plan within the Division.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic business leadership to the Divisional Management Team for income, activity, expenditure and workforce monitoring.
• Taking full responsibility for providing a comprehensive financial management service to the Division.
• Ensuring monthly performance monitoring reports are robust and decisions are based on accurate data.
• Leading, planning, coordinating and implementing the annual financial plan within the Division.
• Constructively and positively challenging all aspects of Divisional performance.

Salary: £66,000 - £77,000 per annum

Location: Southwest - hybrid working - 2-3 days per week on site

Contract: Permanent

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include:

• Providing strategic business leadership to the Divisional Management Team, ensuring a cohesive approach to income, activity, expenditure and workforce monitoring
• Taking full responsibility and accountability for providing a comprehensive financial management service to the Division
• To be responsible for ensuring that monthly performance monitoring reports are robust and that key management decisions are based on accurate business information
• To lead, plan, co-ordinate and implement all aspects of the annual financial business plan within the Division
• Constructively and positively challenge all aspects of Divisional performance

Required experience/qualifications:

• CCAB qualified with 2 years of post-qualification experience
