Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting on behalf of a key NHS client in the Southwest for a Finance Business Partner at 8b level. The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days on site and a salary of £66,000–£77,000 per annum.

You will provide strategic financial leadership to the Division, deliver monthly performance reporting, and lead on the annual financial plan, with CCAB qualification and NHS finance partnering experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualified with 2 years post-qualification experience.
• NHS finance business partnering experience.
• Management/leadership of small teams.
• Ability to challenge senior colleagues and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Divisional Management Team on income, activity, expenditure and workforce monitoring.
• Deliver robust financial management service to the Division with accountability for monthly performance reports.
• Ensure robust monthly performance monitoring reports and evidence-based management decisions.
• Lead, plan, co-ordinate and implement the annual financial business plan within the Division.
• Constructively challenge all aspects of Divisional performance.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include:

• Providing strategic business leadership to the Divisional Management Team, ensuring a cohesive approach to income, activity, expenditure and workforce monitoring
• Taking full responsibility and accountability for providing a comprehensive financial management service to the Division
• To be responsible for ensuring that monthly performance monitoring reports are robust and that key management decisions are based on accurate business information
• To lead, plan, co-ordinate and implement all aspects of the annual financial business plan within the Division
• Constructively and positively challenge all aspects of Divisional performance
