Service Care are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) in a local government setting. The role is contract-based with hybrid working and requires strong financial analysis, planning and reporting skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise in a crucial local government setting, working closely with the Council's Finance Team based in Coalville.

About the Role – Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in managing the Housing Revenues Account, ensuring accurate financial analysis, reporting, and strategic support. You will work on a hybrid basis, combining remote work with essential attendance at the Coalville office when required. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert financial advice and support to the housing department
• Managing financial planning and forecasting for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA)
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiencies
• Assisting with budget preparation and variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Collaborating with the finance team and key stakeholders to support financial decision-making

Candidate Responsibilities – Finance Business Partner

The ideal Finance Business Partner will have proven experience working within the HRA environment and demonstrate the following:

• Strong knowledge of Housing Revenues Accounts
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proven track record of working within a local authority or similar public sector organisation
