Job summary

Tai Tarian is the social landlord for over 9,000 properties across Neath Port Talbot. We are seeking a Finance Business Partner on an 18-month fixed term contract to provide financial analysis and insight to drive performance within the Assets and Development management team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will challenge assumptions, partner with key stakeholders, and support the directorate with data-driven recommendations. Salary £53,966 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience solving complex problems and breaking them into actionable steps.
• Experience managing complex projects with cross-functional delivery.
• Experience in a business partnering/consultative role.
• Experience using data to drive unbiased recommendations and decisions.
• Qualified CA (ACA/ACCA) with a degree (2:1).

We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner who will bereporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner (FBP) works 'in the business' as the finance representative in the Assets and Development management team with responsibility to provide financial analysis and insight to help develop understanding of the financial performance of the department, challenge ingrained thinking and be a catalyst for change.

Working closely with the Director of Assets and Development, this role uses financial expertise, a deep business knowledge of the issues and risks that could impact upon financial performance of the directorate.

This role is an 18-month fixed term contract, with a salary of £53,966.

Criteria for the role:

• Experience of managing complex problems, demonstrating the ability to breakdown the problem into actionable component parts and work with others to complete the tasks required for resolution.
• Experience of complex project management, requiring cross functional coordination in effective and timely delivery of identified outcomes.
• Experience using technical expertise in a business partnering/consultative role where actions and influencing are required to achieve the optimum collective result.
• Experience operating in an environment where data is used to drive unbiased recommendations and decisions
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Degree Level Qualification (2:1)
