Job summary

Arden Personnel Limited is partnering with a leading international business to recruit a Finance BI Analyst for a 6‑month interim contract in Worcester with hybrid working and a mid‑October start. You’ll turn finance and operational data into clear, reliable reporting for the leadership team and Europe head office.

Key duties include designing dashboards in Power BI and Excel, modelling data from Dynamics NAV, gathering requirements from non‑technical stakeholders, and supporting budgeting,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a BI, data or reporting analyst role, ideally within a finance function.
• Strong Power BI skills, including DAX and data modelling.
• Experience working with data from Dynamics NAV, Business Central or a similar ERP.
• A good understanding of management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• The ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and deliver quickly.
• A self-starter who can make an impact from day one with minimal hand-holding.
• Availability to start in mid-October.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and maintaining dashboards and reports, mainly in Power BI and Excel
• Extracting, cleaning and modelling data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Working with the Finance Director and UK directors to understand their reporting needs and turn them into practical solutions
• Providing analysis to support budgeting, forecasting and variance commentary
• Taking on defined analytical projects to help the finance function run more efficiently

Temporary contract | 6 months | £300–£400 per day | Worcester/ [hybrid arrangement] | Start: mid-October

Arden is partnering with a leading international business to find an experienced Finance BI Analyst for an immediate contract with its UK operation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys turning finance and operational data into clear, reliable reporting. You'll work closely with the Finance Director to build and improve the UK business's reporting and analysis, giving the leadership team and the group head office in Europe better visibility of performance.
