Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Finance Automation Analyst in Manchester on a hybrid arrangement. The role focuses on automating reporting, improving data quality and streamlining financial workflows for a leading travel technology client.

You will automate insurance bordereau processes, implement validation checks, improve an email bot for insurance inquiries, and convert manual spreadsheet tasks into scripts and AI-guided workflows while documenting procedures for continuity.

Qualificações

• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets with complex formulas, pivots and cross-file workflows.
• Experience with Google Apps Script, automations, triggers and custom functions.
• Working knowledge of SQL and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git/GitLab.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to build and document automations.
• Strong attention to detail and data quality across processes.

Responsabilidades

• Automate reporting and data workflows to improve efficiency.
• Ingest, clean, reconcile and output data for reporting and controls.
• Enhance insurance bordereau workflows with validation and checks.
• Develop automated recurring reports and data transformations.
• Convert manual spreadsheets into maintainable scripts and AI-guided workflows.
• Document logic and assumptions for non-technical colleagues.
