Dr. Reddy's Cambridge office is seeking an expert Finance Associate to join their team. The role will report to the Head of Finance, UK.

The successful candidate will manage invoices, expenses, bank transactions and VAT reporting, ensuring accurate monthly close and compliance with UK accounting standards. You will collaborate with overseas colleagues and use Excel and SAP daily.

Formación

• Degree in finance or equivalent with 3–5 years industry experience.
• Accounting and bookkeeping experience with UK FRS and IFRS accounting standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-entity collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Invoices processing as per DOA.
• Review of employee expenses, processing & reimbursements; employee credit cards.
• Bank transactions – payments (Domestic & multi-currency/international).
• Monthly expenses accruals and expenses analysis & reporting.
• Preparing monthly expenses journal & petty cash management.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns & Intrastat reports.
• Liaising with HMRC / Internal/External Auditors.
• Regular interaction with customers to focus on receivables.
• Liaising with internal colleagues across functions.
• Work per operating procedures and financial standards.
• Prioritize and manage a multifaceted work stream.

Qualifications

Degree level education or equivalent in a Finance related discipline with 3-5 years industry experience

Skills and attributes

• Good knowledge and experience of accounting, bookkeeping with exposure to UK FRS, IFRS
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Excel, other MS Office applications and experience in SAP is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the role will require interaction with overseas colleagues and partners (customers & Vendors)
