Job summary

Dr. Reddy's Cambridge office is seeking an expert Finance Associate to join their team.

The role reports to the Head of Finance, UK, and involves processing invoices, expenses, and bank transactions across currencies from our UK operation. The position requires a degree in finance with 3–5 years of industry experience, strong accounting knowledge including UK FRS/IFRS, and excellent communication to collaborate with overseas colleagues and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree level education in Finance or related discipline with 3–5 years industry experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and UK FRS/IFRS.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices as per DOA.
• Review employee expenses and reimbursements; manage credit cards.
• Handle bank transactions including multi-currency payments.
• Prepare monthly expenses accruals and analysis; generate reports.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns and Intrastat reports.
• Liaise with HMRC and auditors; coordinate with overseas customers & vendors.
• Manage receivables through regular interaction with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Invoices processing as per DOA
• Review of employee expenses, processing & reimbursements. Employee credit cards.
• Bank transactions - payments (Domestic & multi-currency/international payments)
• Monthly expenses accruals and expenses analysis and reporting
• Preparing monthly expenses journal & Petty cash management
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns & Intrastat reports
• Liaising with HMRC / Internal/External Auditors
• Regular interaction with customers to have continuous focus on receivables
• Liaising with internal colleagues across different functions within the organisation
• Work as per standard operating procedures and financial standards
• Prioritize and manage a multifaceted work stream

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree level education or equivalent in a Finance related discipline with 3-5 years industry experience

Skills and attributes:

• Good knowledge and experience of accounting, bookkeeping with exposure to UK FRS, IFRS
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Excel, other MS Office applications and experience in SAP is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the role will require interaction with overseas colleagues and partners (customers & Vendors)
