Job summary

Loom Talent is partnering with a fast-growing retail property specialist to recruit a Finance Assistant for the Commercial team in Normanton. The role starts on a temporary basis with a genuine opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

You will process invoices, manage sales invoicing and credit control, and support month-end reporting, in a hybrid setup with access from Wakefield, Leeds and Castleford.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance, accounts or similar transactional role.
• Confident Excel skills, with accounting system experience a bonus.
• A sharp eye for detail and the drive to resolve discrepancies.
• Clear, professional communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices, credit notes and expenses accurately and on time.
• Raise sales invoices, allocate receipts and resolve customer account queries.
• Run credit control for the division, from chasing through to resolution.
• Reconcile supplier statements and support month-end reporting.
