Finance Assistant – QuickBooks

London

Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits


Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with strong QuickBooks skills? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative organisation in the sustainability sector. Based in London with a hybrid working model (2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days from home), this role offers a salary of £35,000 + a superb benefits package. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, mission-driven team making a significant impact in the sustainability sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Input financial transactions and journals into QuickBooks, ensuring accurate ledgers
  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets and reconcile bank accounts
  • Maintain Excel dashboards, aligning data with the ledger for accurate reporting
  • Handle accounts receivable and credit control, including customer onboarding
  • Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, ensuring prompt payments

What Experience is Required

  • 5+ years in a similar finance role within an SME environment
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel for day-to-day financial operations
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, VAT returns, and financial reporting

Salary & Benefits

Up to £35,000 per annum

  • Hybrid working (2–3 days from home)
  • 25 days plus bank holidays and additional birthday and loyalty leave
  • Company pension scheme

Location
The role is hybrid with two or three days in London and two or three days from home.
