Description

Part-Time Finance Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts in line with established procedures.
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain organised financial records and assist in data entry tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
  • Respond to internal and external queries related to financial transactions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of basic financial reports when required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Assist with ad hoc duties as requested by the finance team.

Profile

A Successful Finance Assistant (Part Time) Should Have

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Previous experience in a similar finance or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.

Job Offer

  • Hourly rate of approximately £12.21-£14.40, depending on experience.
  • 30 hours a week 4 days equivalent
