Job summary

FOUDYS is seeking a part-qualified Finance Assistant to join our growing women’s football-focused business. You’ll work closely with the CEO and outsourced accountants, handling end-to-end finance from sales/purchase ledgers to payroll, VAT, cash flow and month-end.

You’ll own your area, keep financial data accurate, and raise issues early. The role is ideal for someone early in their finance career who wants broad exposure in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or studying towards a finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
• Solid grounding in finance and willingness to take ownership.
• Hands-on experience with sales and/or purchase ledger preferred.
• Comfort with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Raise customer invoices and credit notes.
• Monitor outstanding balances and manage credit control.
• Resolve account queries and discrepancies with customers.
• Maintain records of debts and update the CEO regularly.
• Process supplier invoices and prepare payments on terms.
• Investigate discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage supplier credits.
