Kennedy Pearce Consulting is hiring an Accounts Assistant to join its finance team in London. The role is 3 days per week in the office and reports to the Financial Controller in a team of five.

You will support month-end close, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and intercompany accounting, gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting activities in a fast-paced sports environment.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years finance experience
• AAT, bookkeeping and/or ACCA studies underway
• Good practical understanding of VAT returns
• Month‑end experience: journals, accruals and prepayments
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
• Experience using SAP would be advantageous
• Proactive, hands‑on and able to work independently
• Experience in football/sport/agency environment would be attractive

Aufgaben

• Support month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Process daily bank postings and bank reconciliations
• Support cash management and monitor cash position
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns and monthly VAT reviews
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with overseas entity accounting and SAP trial balances
• Assist with actual vs budget analysis
• Support European entity accounting and compliance
• Prepare schedules and reconciliations for year-end audit
• Take increasing ownership of areas of responsibility as experience develops
