Job summary

PVF Scaffolding LTD is seeking a Finance Assistant for an 11-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of permanence. The role supports accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, and accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or working towards it.
• Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier and client invoices promptly within timescales.
• Reconcile supplier statements and customer payments.
• Manage weekly supplier payment runs and allocate receipts.
• Resolve invoice and payment queries with suppliers, clients and internal teams.
• Support credit control activities and payment plans where required.
• Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers.
• Onboard and verify new suppliers, ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
